I provide a freelance video production service from Leicester, East Midlands, which has easy access to much of the UK.

With 15 years experience of all aspects of corporate video production, I can either provide a complete end-to-end production process myself (from scripting, direction, camera, sound, graphics, editing and final delivery on DVD or for the web); or can call on an extensive network of the best local freelancers for bigger projects.

In 14 years as an employee for this well respected production company, based at various times in Leicester, Cambridge and London, I have worked on many projects in many different capacities mainly as the primary video editor and post production supervisor, but also more occasionally as producer, director and cameraman.

Technical Expertise

I have many years experience of non-linear editing (starting with Media100 in the mid 90s), and have always picked up new equipment and software extremely quickly.

I currently use Final Cut Pro HD, After Effects, Motion, Color, Compressor & DVD Studio Pro on a daily basis.

I am also a proficient lighting cameraman - and have operated many cameras: HD (P2), DigiBeta, D9, DVCam, HDV etc.

I also have a thorough understanding of the issues involved in video delivery on the internet, and enough basic knowledge of html & css to be able to hack this site together myself (just don't use IE6)

University of Cambridge (Downing College) - 1992-95: BA(Hons) Engineering (2:2 - aka I spent my time there making films and running the filmaking society:)
