Congratulations on your win. This video is both a joyful and painful experience. I look forward to your continued success and Hollys future triumphs in whichever field she chooses to follow.

Congrats on the #screenstockport award! I haven't seen the other contenders, but I can just imagine the judges sitting down to watch a few candidate "music videos" thinking it would be a light, enjoyable couple of hours, then getting broadsided by this video and having to stop.

And thank The Infinite Is for Neil and Amanda and Ben and Damian. Hardly a day goes by without one or another of them (it's usually Neil, but the others do play their parts) having a profound impact on my life.

Great blog and thanks for sharing. I am delighted you engaged with the 'why' question and I am seeing many others strating their film making choices with what they want to achieve rather than what they want to just make. GREAT STUFF! Keep me in the loop as to how your feel god project goes.

I don't remember how I stumbled on this video b/c I don't follow any of those people on any social media but I thought the video was beautiful work. I'm sorry for the angry facebook comments you've been getting, especially since you were the interpreter and not the writer. Sometimes we forget, judge art not for its morality but for it's aesthetics. I'm not sure if that's for better or worse.

In affluent houses in America devoid of corporeal want or physical abuse, our problems are small but they're still problems. We can only be aware of and possibly imagine the problems many other children face around the world but also in our own country in violent homes and inner cities. For pain is very difficult to describe and someone who has only ever suffered a splinter can't be expected to understand what it's like to shatter a limb, nor can they be expected to ignore the splinter because, hey--there's someone out there in the world with a shattered limb and a splinter is so incomparable to their suffering we shouldn't even bother to remove it.
